Thought I would try to do some cross-processing on this image. Curves were used on the red ,rgb ,and blue channels plus levels and some burning.Finished with a little sharpening. I think it's turned out really good for a first attempt.

I also like this. here comes the run down

What I like:
-the range of colors and tones.
-VERY intresting subject. Its original for me. I love it.
-The shadows....what a good way to use shadows.

What I dont like:
-The ear...to warm. Doesn't fit the rest of the image for me at all.

Overall, A VERY nice shot my friend.

Love the shot, yes I know you could not have done anything about the ear. Earless hair does not do it for me

Why not pretty up the ear a little, clone the dots a pock marks, make it look smooth. Or maybe just make it monochrome

Love the shot. Maybe you can show us what it looks like without the color adjustments. Sometimes an image is strong enough to tell a story without embelishment. I think this is one of those times. I love this shot.

Sometimes all the stuff we can do with digital gets in the way of really good photography and photographic story telling. Good digital post processing choices can be just as much about what you choose *not* to do as much as what you do.

Strong image. Great eye and conceptual intuition.
