		<title>Party!</title>
		<link href="http://www.chrish.shutterchance.com/photoblog/5599.htm" />
		<summary>Apologies for not posting for a few days,but way too much on at the moment. Some of you who look at my Newcastle Upon Tyne Daily Photo blog will have seen this before but I just love this image--it's one of my favorites. Taken at the opening ceremony of the 'summit on world art and culture' held in Newcastle last week. Levels,curves,background bluring and unsharp mask.</summary>

		<title>Linz in B&W</title>
		<link href="http://www.chrish.shutterchance.com/photoblog/4524.htm" />
		<summary>Another Linz picture today. Although still an urban setting I feel this is a slightly softer image of her. If anybody can think of a good title for this picture let me know! Levels,curves and channel mixture with a little dodging and burning.</summary>

		<title>Attitude</title>
		<link href="http://www.chrish.shutterchance.com/photoblog/4413.htm" />
		<summary>Sorry I have been away. Lots of boring personal stuff that you don't need to know about. Anyway,the lovely Linz agreed to do some more shots with me and here is the first of those. I went for a real 'punk' look and attitude to fit in with way she is. Messed about with curves to get that urban look and then added a radial blur before using the eraser tool to show Linz better.</summary>

		<link href="http://www.chrish.shutterchance.com/photoblog/3633.htm" />
		<summary>Not what you think...this isn't actually a wall put the pavement on South Shields sea front. I love the colours and the simplicity of this shot. Boosting the saturation was the only thing done to this.</summary>

		<title>Church light.</title>
		<link href="http://www.chrish.shutterchance.com/photoblog/3631.htm" />
		<summary>Another shot from York,but not the same church mentioned yesterday. I love the sky and the sunlight hitting the church but reflected from shop windows opposite. Can't think of a decent name for this one-sorry. Levels,curves,highlight/shadow tool,and unsharp mask on the church.</summary>

		<summary>These guys are on a wall next to a church in York. Channel mixer to change to greyscale and then a little dodging and burning before cropping out a board from underneath.</summary>

		<title>Rat with wings?</title>
		<link href="http://www.chrish.shutterchance.com/photoblog/3629.htm" />
		<summary>A view along the River Tyne. Not the usual thing I like to photograph,but I quite like this. Levels,curves,slight crop and unsharp mask.Then I flipped it because I thought the diagonal was better left to right.</summary>

		<title>Cool.</title>
		<link href="http://www.chrish.shutterchance.com/photoblog/3425.htm" />
		<summary>I saw this beautiful girl sat at the monument and knew I had to get a shot. She rumbled me straight away and half smiled as is if to say "i know what your trying to do". I really wanted a shot so just went up and asked her if I could take one. She asked why,and so I explained,and she said yes. So not the most natural street picture I have taken but she was such a lovely person,and really sweet about it. I quickly got 3 shots but wished I had taken 50!! So Linz if you see this how do you fancy doing some modeling? :-) This is my last 'people picture' for a while. Levels,curves,highlight/shadow tool and a crop.I didn't want to lose all the background so burnt it all out to highlight Linz.</summary>

		<link href="http://www.chrish.shutterchance.com/photoblog/3423.htm" />
		<summary>I love the way the guy walking past is looking at the girls,and the guy on the right is staring at the guy walking past...at least that's my take on it! Levels,curves,shadow/highlight tool,then a crop and some cloning out of signage on the left of the picture.</summary>

		<title>Really?</title>
		<link href="http://www.chrish.shutterchance.com/photoblog/3299.htm" />
		<summary>I'm sticking with people shots for the next few days as I am getting a real taste for it. Again it was pretty easy to catch these 2 guys as they were having a really friendly animated conversation,and didn't notice me at all. Levels,curves,and the desaturate and then eraser to bring out the colour.Crop a lot of the distracting background and then sharpen.</summary>

		<title>If only....</title>
		<link href="http://www.chrish.shutterchance.com/photoblog/3296.htm" />
		<summary>I'm getting a little braver with my people photography these days although this girl was fairly easy to get. I felt bad taking her picture to be honest as she looked so sad and was sat here for ages deep in thought.I think I could have stood directly in front of her and she wouldnt have noticed me! Usual,levels,curves,saturation and crop out a bit on the left ,some from the top and a large part on the right.Finished with highlight/shadow tool and then unsharp mask.</summary>

		<link href="http://www.chrish.shutterchance.com/photoblog/3209.htm" />
		<summary>My favorite guitarist and songwriter in my favorite band. This is one of my very best gig shots(I think!) I would love to do this as a job ,but I know I'm nowhere near good enough.(yet!!) I will keep practicing of course.</summary>
